oh, muffins!

  • I ran again this morning. That makes three times this week. Running is different now. It hurts a bit [both my body and my pride] - but, my new outlook is: “Do what you can with what you have.” Right now, I’m as slow as a glacier and that’s okay. I’ve never been “fast” to begin with — but this is a new pace all together. You only get better by sticking with it, right? Right. So, thus begins the “starting over” process: 3.65 miles in just under 48 minutes [run/walk, of course.]
  • For the past couple days, I’ve been able to leave my windows open. I’m enjoying my balcony while I cool down.
  • Oh, and someone made their way out to keep me company.
  • Sunday goals: lesson plan, go to my first BodyPump class at the Y [New things, guys. New things.] and relax.

  3. my-life--in-a-nutshell said: 1. I LOVE Body Pump (which means there is probably no excuse for the fact that I’ve gone 3 times all summer). 2. What’s that saying: No matter how slow you run, it’s faster than sitting on the couch….or something like that. 3. Way to go!!
